Acceptable use policy
Last updated October 22, 2026
Draft for legal review. This page has not yet been reviewed by our lawyer, and its wording may change.
1. About this policy
This policy says what dealers may and may not do with the websites, hosting and admin tools Lot Ready Sheds LLC (“Lot Ready Sheds”, “we”, “us”) provides, and what we may do if it is broken. It applies to every dealer that uses our services, and to anyone the dealer gives access to. It is part of your signed agreement with us and of our terms of use. “You” means the dealer.
2. What the service is for
Our service is for advertising and selling your buildings, such as sheds, barns, garages, cabins and other portable buildings, and the products and services that go with them (delivery, site preparation, options, financing or rent-to-own through your provider). Using your website for anything else needs our written agreement.
3. What may not go on your website
Neither you nor anyone you give access to may put on your website, or send through it:
- anything illegal, or offers of illegal goods or services;
- false or misleading advertising, including prices, availability or financing terms you would not honor;
- photos, words, logos or anything else that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene or sexually explicit content;
- other people’s personal information without the right to share it;
- malware, hidden links, or anything meant to mislead search engines or visitors;
- spam, or messages sent through the site to people who did not ask for them; or
- anything that, in our reasonable judgment, could expose us to legal liability or harm our reputation or our other customers.
4. Using the software and admin fairly
The software, design and code behind your website belong to us. You may use them only through the service. You may not:
- copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or share the software, or try to work out its code or database;
- get around the limits, protections or features of your plan, or test its security without our written permission;
- use anyone else’s account, or try to reach another dealer’s website, admin or data;
- put a load on our servers that harms the service for others; or
- use the Lot Ready Sheds name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we have not.
5. Your customers’ information
You decide what your website collects from your customers and how you use it. Collect only what you need, use it lawfully and as your privacy policy says, keep your staff’s access to those who need it, and answer your customers’ requests about their information. We handle that information only on your behalf, as our privacy policy explains.
6. What we may do
If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may do one or more of the following, in proportion to the problem:
- ask you to change it;
- remove or hide the content involved;
- suspend your website, your admin or a staff account; or
- end your service, under your signed agreement.
Normally we tell you first and give you 7 days to put it right. We may act at once, without notice, when content is illegal, puts our systems or other customers at risk, is the subject of a legal demand, or could seriously harm us or others; we then tell you what we did and why as soon as we can. Fees stay due while a website is suspended for a breach, as your signed agreement says. We may keep records of a breach and share them with the authorities when the law requires it or we believe a crime has been committed.
7. Reporting a problem
We have no duty to monitor dealers’ websites, but we may act on anything we find or are told about. To report content on a website we host that breaks this policy, email support@lotreadysheds.com with the address of the page and what is wrong.
8. When your service ends
When your service ends, you may ask within 30 days for an export of your data: your records as spreadsheets (your buildings, requests, quotes, orders and their paperwork, customers’ messages, prices and settings you entered) and your files (photos, documents and forms). It is your data, not our software, design or code. We may hold an export back while you are in material breach of your signed agreement, including until undisputed fees are paid, and we leave out any content that is unlawful. After those 30 days we delete your website and data, except copies that stay in our backups until they are replaced and anything the law requires us to keep. Your domain name stays yours.
9. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy. We will post the new version here, change the date at the top, and email dealers about any change that affects them. Questions about this policy: support@lotreadysheds.com.
